The lathes type TCG are heavy duty universal lathes permitting rough and finish turning of workpieces of different hardness in full exploitation of lathe power. The two-way bed of rigid design as well as all units and hardened steel strips on ways of bed and antifriction liners of carriage ensure high efficiency and durability of the lathe when roughing. The machine can also obtain high accuracy by high precision finish work.
These lathes can also be performed with three-way bed - then the type designation is TCH.
